Recover a deleted Google account

If you accidentally delete your Google account you can recover it. It's good to have at hand as much information about your deleted account as possible (especially the verification code is useful).

Let's go now:
  1. Browse to http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/request.py?ctx=accounts_hc&contact_type=ara.
  2. Specify an email address where the confirmation of the recovery should be sent.
  3. Provide as much information on your account as possible.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. You will receive an email stating something like:
    Thank you for your report.
The contact address you provided matches the recovery address on the account. We're happy to inform you that you can reset your password by entering your Gmail username at https://www.google.com/accounts/ForgotPasswd and completing the word verification.
  6. Click on the link and provide a new password.
  7. Now your account is recovered.
  8. Try to log in with your new account.
